Snowden Mining Industry Consultants completed a resource estimate in 2004 and reported the resource applying a 10% zinc grade cutoff. This resource was classified as an Inferred Resource based on the guidelines of the 2004 JORC Code.

Ore Reserve Estimate
A high proportion of the Perkoa resource converts to reserves, with approximately 93% of the tonnes in resources converting to reserves.
Perkoa's estimated ore reserve totals 6.3 million tonnes at a mine head grade of 14.5% zinc, containing a total of 907,679 tonnes of zinc metal. The categorisation into proved and probable reserves is shown in the table below.
